Dr. Furqan Hameed, born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is a distinguished journalist, academic, and media professional currently based in Ankara, Turkey. A graduate of the University Of Punjab. He earned his Master’s and Ph.D. in Turkish Language and Literature from Ankara University, becoming the first Pakistani to achieve this distinction. He has served as a lecturer and translator at Ankara University and worked extensively with leading media outlets including Radio Pakistan, BBC Urdu Service, GEO TV, and Jang Newspaper.
